Stasia Greets You!

Hello,

I made a video, a really short and sweet one, just to show you how I talk normally. I'm not going to be doing much speaking because I'm going to be singing, dancing, and what not. So here I am, and here's my formal greeting to you! Thanks for watching, and see you soon!

Good Day IU English Cover

Hey Everyone!

I finally have my first video out! So I decided to do the latest hit, IU's Good Day. It's a really beautiful song, and I can't sing well enough to do the song justice. But I've had a lot of fun with it, and I hope my translation/ rendition of the lyrics will help you enjoy it too. I am certain that my lyrics are the best English version of this song, because it captures every rhyme and feel, and the meaning as well. What I did for this video was first record myself singing on the computer for higher quality soundtrack, and then filmed myself singing. After, I combined the two and muted my camera audio feed. I was actually singing, but I felt that the three highest notes could be sung by IU's original beautiful voice because it's in English anyways. Thanks for watching, and I'll hopefully get another cover out really soon! Lyrics down below!

Lyrics:
IU- Good Day

How is it that the sky is so much bluer today?
How is it that the wind is perfect again today?
Not knowing in pretense, not hearing in pretense
erase in pretense, should I start another talk?
Should I kiss on your lips so you can’t talk?

Tears well in my eyes so raise my head up
So that they cannot flow, I smile and perk up.
Why this is I don’t know. What you now said I don’t know.
Today all the words been spoken float to the sky.
Not even once did I say, while I cried the words that I couldn’t say.
Well to me, you are my only love. Oh-no

Maybe it was my new hairstyle that didn’t take.
Maybe the outfit I wore today was a mistake.
Don’t know yet in pretense,
Can’t recall in pretense,
As if there had been nothing should I act it out?
Should I make up my mind and ask you out?

Tears well in my eyes so raise my head up
So that they cannot flow, I smile and perk up.
Why this is I don’t know. What you now said I don’t know.
Today all the words been spoken float to the sky.
Not even once did I say, while I cried the words that I couldn’t say.
Well to me, you are my only love. (Sigh) Oh-no

As you look at me so,
Do not say that kind of depressing words, oh
Immaturity or is it density?
I cannot believe either one.

Tears are falling down but smile to you
I get in your way and laugh overdo.
Why I am I don’t know,
Where is my pride I don’t know,
My self-esteem well folded up float to the sky, oh
Not even once did I say
Oh perhaps words I will never get to say
Well to me, you are my only love, yikes, one two

I’m in my dream
(it so beautiful, beautiful dream, make it a good day. Just don’t make me cry.)
To see such a good day.

Introduction

Hello Everyone,

My name is Stasia, and welcome to my blog. I do have a little "about me" section, but I would like to add to that for people who are interested about knowing more about me. I am 100% Korean, born in Korea and lived there for seven years. When I was seven I moved to the US, so I guess you can say that I'm more American since I've lived here longer, but I take pride in being Korean. Being cosmopolitan, I am proficient in many languages: (in order of fluency) English, Korean, Spanish, Japanese, and Chinese. I currently reside in northern California, and attend high school. I am a very academic person, and am best at science and math, though I do excel in other areas of study.
My absolute favorite genre of music is pop, no matter which language. However, the pop genre seems to be most developed in Korea and Japan, but I don't really pay attention to the Japanese music. Korean pop is awesome, super easy to choreograph to, numerous, and upbeat. For me, the music needs to be upbeat and positive, because music totally controls my mood. I have lived with music all my life, and I know it will always be part of mine. Through music, I've learned so much, and I hope others will as well.
Dancing is another interest of mine, and I started to get interested not too long ago. It's been only about three years since I wanted to know how to dance, and I'm proud to say I have improved a ton. Now it is my one other passion that takes me away from all the stressfulness of day to day life.
Thank you for visiting, and I will keep you all updated! See you!

Stacia
